**THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED. A WINNER HAS BEEN RANDOMLY SELECTED FROM A DRAW AND CONTACTED.**

Next week marks the first anniversary of Leonard Cohen's death, and Montreal plans to remember him in style.

From concerts and exhibits to documentaries, the city will be full of tributes to the late Montreal singer-songwriter and CBC Montreal wants you to be part of the action.

Between Tuesday, Oct. 31 and Thursday, Nov. 2, we're running a contest called "Experience Leonard Cohen with CBC Daybreak".

Tell us what Leonard Cohen meant to you. What impact did he have on your life? How did his music or poetry change you as a person?

We have an incredible prize pack to give away to one lucky winner. It includes:

  • 2 tickets to the Leonard Cohen: Tower of Song concert on Monday, Nov. 6 at the Bell Centre, which features artists including Sting, Elvis Costello, Lana Del Rey, Feist, k.d Lang and more.
  • 2 tickets to the Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), which is presented by CBC/Radio-Canada. The exhibit runs from Nov. 9, 2017 to April 9, 2018.
  • 2 annual memberships to the MAC.
  • A Leonard Cohen gift bag from the exhibit at the MAC.

To participate, send in your story via email or Twitter before Thursday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. (Contact information below).

On Friday, Nov. 3, a random draw will be conducted by a CBC Daybreak employee from among all entries, and the winner's name will be read on air. (The winner will also be contacted separately to arrange tickets.)
