Commuters travelling through Côte-des-Neiges are dealing with traffic headaches this morning as borough workers attempt to repair a broken water main.
Part of southbound Décarie Boulevard near Snowdon Street was shut down as of 7 a.m. on Tuesday to allow crews to fix the water main and repair the cracked asphalt surrounding it.
The work slowed traffic this morning, causing several blocks of gridlock.
The work also interrupted water service in the Décarie-Snowdon-Weelsteed-Coolbrook area.
The borough said the work should be completed by early Tuesday evening.
