The Montreal Canadiens are facing elimination tonight after losing 4-2 in Boston over the weekend.

The Boston Bruins added insult to injury at the end of the game on Saturday.

Habsdefenceman P.K. Subban was skating past the Bruins' bench during the play, when he was squirted in the face with a stream of water from the bench.

The culprit — Bruins' forward Shawn Thornton — was slapped with the maximum penalty: a $2,820 fine.
