Bus crash caused by high winds injures two near Montmagny

Two passengers suffered minor injuries when a gust of wind blew a bus off Highway 20 at Montmagny, near Quebec City.

Two passengers suffered minor injuries when a gust of wind blew a bus off Highway 20 at Montmagny, near Quebec City.

Seventeen passengers were on the Orléans Express bus when the accident happened.

A wind gust sent the bus off the highway as its approaching a shallow overpass, sending the bus off the road and sliding down the embankment on its side.

The two injured passengers were taken to hospital.

The region around Quebec City experienced high winds and heavy snow Sunday. Environment Canada was reporting wind gusts of up to 90 km/h.
