Béatrice Godin, 11, of St-Isidore dies after family shooting
Total of 4 people in Quebec died after shootings in 2 homes in Ste-Croix, St-Isidore on Saturday
An 11-year-old girl who was among family members shot and killed in a home in St-Isidore, Que., over the weekend died today.
Béatrice Godin was shot in a family drama that resulted in the deaths of her sister, her mother and her mother's boyfriend.
Provincial police were called to a home in Ste-Croix-de-Lotbinière on Saturday evening. They found the bodies of Nancy Samson, 44, and Benoit Daigle, 39.
The investigation quickly led police to another home, about 70 kilometres away in St-Isidore.
They found the body of 13-year-old Medora Godin, as well as an unconscious Béatrice and their 54-year-old father, Martin Godin. Godin, who remains in critical but stable condition in hospital, is currently the police's main suspect.
