Quebec’s anti-corruption unit (UPAC) conducted a series of raids on Thursday, including one at the Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough offices.

Those same offices were raided earlier this year, in February.

UPAC also paid a visit to the offices of Union Montréal yesterday.

The party dissolved earlier this month. It was once lead by former mayor Gérald Tremblay, who resigned from office in November.

Officials said the unit did not contact Mayor Michael Applebaum as a part of the recent investigation.

He was the borough’s mayor until he stepped into the position of Montreal mayor last year.
