Teen in hospital following Montreal stabbing

A 16-year-old-boy is in hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie burrough early Saturday morning.

A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough early Saturday morning. 

The boy was stabbed in a bar during an altercation that involved several people, police said. 

The incident happened near the intersection of Jean-Talon Street and St-Hubert Street.

As officers arrived on the scene around 3 a.m., they saw a car speed away.

Police managed to pull the car over, taking three men in their 20s into custody. 

The victim is in stable condition, police said.
