Over a dozen run again, two prominent ministers retire from politics

Sixteen Manitoba cabinet ministers stood for re-election in Tuesday's vote. All of them will return to the legislature.
During the hard-fought election campaign, Premier Greg Selinger spent a lot of time stumping in cabinet ministers' ridings. The NDP were pressing for a historic fourth consecutive term in government.

- Gord Mackintosh, St Johns*RE-ELECTED.
- Eric Robinson, Kewatinook *RE-ELECTED.
- Ron Lemieux, Dawson Trail *RE-ELECTED.
- Stan Struthers, Dauphin *RE-ELECTED.
- Nancy Allan, St. Vital *RE-ELECTED.
- Jim Rondeau, Assiniboia *RE-ELECTED.
- Peter Bjornson, Gimli *RE-ELECTED.
- Christine Melnick, Riel *RE-ELECTED.
- Theresa Oswald, Seine River *RE-ELECTED.
- Kerri Irvin-Ross, Fort Richmond *RE-ELECTED.
- Andrew Swan, Minto *RE-ELECTED.
- Jennifer Howard, Fort Rouge *RE-ELECTED.
- Flor Marcelino, Logan *RE-ELECTED.
- Erin Selby, Southdale *RE-ELECTED.
Finance Minister Rosann Wowchuk and Conservation Minister Bill Blaikie retired from politics.
