More showers are expected Friday and Saturday, with temperatures reaching 20 C.

Winnipeg could see another 25 to 50 millimetres of rain on Sunday as more thunderstorms track across southern Manitoba.

There is little to no sunshine in the forecast until Tuesday next week.

Lindenwoods, Tuxedo, southeast Charleswood and the communities of Sanford and Brunkild had between 70 and 75 millimetres in just half an hour of rainfall Thursday.

Representing different extremes on the spectrum, the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport recorded 21 mm, while Whyte Ridge received 81 mm of rain.
