A 23-year-old woman was critically injured after she was hit by a car in downtown Winnipeg late Saturday afternoon.
The collision happened at around 5 p.m. Saturday on Broadway and Donald Street.
The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the scene.
The woman who was injured remains in critical condition in hospital as of Monday morning, according to police.
Investigators say it appears that the woman was crossing the eastbound lanes of Broadway at Donald when she was struck by an eastbound car.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene but later released without charge as the investigation continues, according to police.
