A second person has died following a crash between a motorcycle and a van on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Brandon on Friday.

The 25-year-old woman died in hospital Saturday.

She was a passenger on the motorcycle, which was travelling west on Highway 1 when it collided with the van going south on Highway 270.

The 26-year-old Selkirk man driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead in hospital on Friday.

Police will not be releasing the names of either of the victims.

The driver of the van was taken to hospital in Brandon with unspecified injuries.
