Winnipeg woman dies in Michigan boat collision
A Winnipeg woman is dead after a crash involving two boats on Sunday night.
The collision happened on the St. Clair River in Michigan.
Sixty-eight-year-old Nancy Axford was killed when a 7½-metre baja boat broadsided the cabin cruiser she was on board.
Another passenger was also killed as the boat rode up and over the cruiser.
Three others aboard the cabin cruiser were injured and taken to hospital.
A 32-year-old Chesterfield Township man was arrested and faces alcohol-related charges.
