Winnipeg Transit driver threatened, robbed by passenger

Winnipeg police need help identifying a man accused of threatening and robbing a city transit driver.

It happened Dec. 6, 2013, in the downtown area of Graham Avenue and Donald Street.

According to police, a man on the bus threatened the driver then stole some personal property before running away. The suspect dropped the stolen property soon after and it was recovered by police.

The transit driver was not injured.

Attempts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful, so police have released images from surveillance video in the hope that someone might help them ID the man.
