Winnipeg suspect charged in Point Douglas stabbing death
Stabbing victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition Monday but died of his injuries
A 21-year old Winnipeg man has been charged with second degree murder after a stabbing on Austin Street North early Monday.
The suspect, Michael Tyler John Boubard, had been doing drugs at the rooming house when he got into a fight with the victim, police said.
Twenty-five-year-old Jeffery Campbell was stabbed several times in the upper body and later died in hospital.
Boubard was arrested Tuesday and remains in police custody.
