Many roads and highways around southern Manitoba are covered or partly covered in snow or ice.
A road condition report from Riding Mountain National Park said travel is not advised on Highway 10, Highway 19, the Lake Audy Road and the Rolling River Road within the park.
The miserable conditions are similar in Winnipeg, where there have been several reports of crashes through the early morning.
