Winnipeg police are letting the public know hundreds of calls will be placed Wednesday night to monitor what citizens think of the force.
Dimark Research is testing the Winnipeg Police Service’s citizen survey before it launches next week. Calls will go out between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday night.
The survey will randomly poll 600 Winnipeggers to find out what they think about their personal safety, the city’s crime rates and how well officers are doing.
The main phoning phase for the actual survey will begin on Monday and will be completed by next Thursday.
