Police in Winnipeg are looking for a 28-year-old man after a gun was fired in the city`s Weston neighbourhood.

It happened March 1, shortly after 6 a.m. in the 1500 block of Alexander Avenue.

According to police, a man at a house party pulled out the gun while trying to rob another man. During the incident, the gun went off but no one was hurt.

The suspect, later identified as Michael Tylor Fless, ran from the house before police arrived.

Attempts by police to find him have been unsuccessful, so investigators are asking the public to help.

He is described as being 5 feet and four inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a medium build, fair complexion, short brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 204-986-6668 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

However, police say Fless is armed and dangerous and urge people to not approach him.
