Winnipeg police probe stabbing, 2 different scenes
Winnipeg police are investigating at two separate scenes in relation to a stabbing of a teenage male Saturday afternoon.
Police said they received a call at about 12:20 p.m. CST about a person being stabbed on Portage Avenue.
Officers have taped off Junior's Restaurant in the 500 block of Portage Avenue.
Police told CBC News the victim then made his way to the 400 block of Langside Street, where emergency crews later attended to him on a stretcher from the back of Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre.
The community centre has also been taped off and officers are questioning people in the area and from an apartment down the street from the scene.
There is no word yet on what happened or the condition of the victim.
