Winnipeg police probe 2 robberies

Police are investigating two separate robberies in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg police are investigating two separate robberies in the city. 

A store in the 100 block of Keewatin Street was held up at about 6 a.m.  

Police said the clerk was pepper sprayed during the robbery. 

The second incident happened on Friday at about 4 a.m. at a convenience story in the 600 block of Watt Street. 

Two store clerks told police an armed man walked inside, proceeded behind the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money. 

The suspect is described to be in his late 20s and about 5-foot-10 in height. 

Police are asking anyone with information about the robberies to contact them.
