Winnipeg police look for 2 assault suspects
59-year-old man was rushed to hospital in critical condition
A 59-year-old man had to be rushed to a Winnipeg hospital this morning following an assault.
Winnipeg Police said the man was in critical condition. There is no word on the man's current condition.
Police said the incident happened in the 400 block of Webb Place at about 5:30 a.m. CT.
The investigation has revealed the security guard came across a man and woman drinking in the lobby of the building. The guard was assaulted when he asked them to leave.
Several people were taken into custody and were released. Police are now looking for two suspects.
The first is a man between 30 and 40 years old. Police said he is believed to be 5 foot 10 with short dark hair. He was wearing a white hoodie with sparkles with a crown at the time.
The second suspect is a woman between 20 and 30 years old. She is described as being about 5 foot 9 with a skinny build and long dark hair. She was wearing a button up leather jacket and knee high black boots at the time.
