Winnipeg police investigate man's death in Spence neighbourhood
Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide involving a man who was found in the city's Spence neighbourhood.
A passerby found the unconscious man near Cumberland Avenue and Spence Street at around 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He had injuries that are "considered suspicious in nature," police said in a news release.
Police say they are working on confirming the man's identity.
There is no word on how he died, and no arrests have been made at this time.
