Winnipeg police are investigating two unrelated stabbings in the city.

One happened Saturday morning on Thomas Berry Street near the St. Boniface Hospital, where police said a man was attacked.

There is no word on his condition or what led to the stabbing or if police have identified possible suspects.

The other stabbing happened Friday near the Millennium Library at about 4 p.m. CT.

An 18-year-old man was sent to hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Police said he was attacked by a male unknown to him. The victim made his way to a home where an emergency call was made.
