Some of the items up for grabs at the Winnipeg police auction Sunday afternoon.

The Winnipeg Police Service is holding an auction on unclaimed goods Sunday afternoon.

People can go take a look at various bikes, jewellery and other goods at the Associated Auto Auction on Robin Boulevard.

The items are either stolen or no one has come to claim them from the police.

Jeff Noiseau, the general manager at the auction house has some advice for bidders.

"Just come in and put a price down and stick to that price," said Noiseau.  "We see people getting carried away at the auction and they end up paying more than you could buy it new."

The auction starts at noon and continues through Sunday afternoon.

All the items up for grabs can also been seen on the Auto Auction website.
