A Winnipeg mother is frantic for her 20-year-old daughter, who has been missing since Saturday night.

Jennifer Jackson-Jones said the last time the family had contact with Jessica Jones was Saturday night. The young woman's car was then found crashed near McPhillips Street and the Perimeter Highway early Sunday morning.

"I'm afraid for my daughter's health and well-being, and what state of mind she's in and who she's with and if she's safe," said Jackson-Jones, who lives in the city's River Heights neighbourhood with her daughter.

"I would hope if someone found her on the street, they would have reported it."

Jackson-Jones said she has been told her daughter was picked up intoxicated in St. James early Sunday morning and taken to a party on Furby Street, in the city's West Broadway area.

But there was no trace of Jones after she left the party.

Jackson-Jones said her daughter suffers from depression and alcohol addiction.

Jessica Jones is described as being about five feet and six inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has medium-length brown hair and green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a short black leather jacket and blue jeans, and she was carrying a purple wallet.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service's missing persons unit at (204) 986-6250.

Jessica Jones was last seen Oct. 27 at about 10 p.m. in the city's North End. (Facebook)
