Winnipeg police have laid multiple charges against an 18-year-old man after a nasty crash on St. Vital Road.

Winnipeg police have laid multiple charges against an 18-year-old man after a nasty crash on St. Vital Road.

Emergency crews rushed to St. Vital Road and Dunkirk Drive around 6 a.m. on Saturday to find a Honda Accord and Chevy Cobalt badly damaged on the side of a snowbank.

Four people were involved in the crash, but none of them had life threatening injuries, according to police.

The driver of the Honda is now facing multiple charges including driving while impaired and driving while impaired causing bodily harm.

The man has been released on a promise to appear in court.
