Winnipeg lawyer Jack King has died at the age of 67.

King is the husband of Lori Douglas, an associate chief justice for Manitoba.

The couple has been mired in controversy over allegations of sexual harassment involving one of King's clients in 2003.

King was charged with professional misconduct for soliciting the client to have sex with his wife.

Meanwhile, Douglas remains under suspension while an inquiry by the Canadian Judicial Council looks into her conduct in connection to the controversy.
