In her solo show, Nancy Kenny states that a good roller derby name needs "the right mix of sexuality and violence." The same might be said of Roller Derby Saved My Soul and Kenny has hit on the right mix. The show is a tale of a meek young woman who rides a crest of burgeoning sexuality and emerging physical prowess when she discovers the sport of roller derby.

Kenny plays Amy, a 30-year-old obsessed with superheroes, comics, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She embraces her very own superhero persona within the rough and tumble world of women's roller derby. But in her eagerness, has she has somehow crossed over into super-villain territory? That's the question she wrestles with here.

Kenny will have you rooting for her as she skates around the stage, unleashing her inner diva before your very eyes in this whip-smart show.
