City crews are working to repair a watermain break near Horace Street and St. Mary's Road in Winnipeg.

City crews are working to repair a watermain break near Horace Street and St. Mary's Road in Winnipeg.  

Traffic was backed up Saturday afternoon with reports of quite a bit of water in the area.

Police cadets were on scene to direct traffic.  

On Friday, a watermain break flooded an intersection in Winnipeg's St. James neighbourhood. 

Water was reported on Portage Avenue and Queen Street, just after 3:30 p.m. CT Friday.

On Thursday morning another main break flooded the Route 90 underpass near Portage Avenue.
