On Sunday, Winnipeg is mainly cloudy with occasional flurries, according to CBC meteorologist John Sauder.
Blowing snow is expected in the city at least until noon. Up to 5 cm of snow is expected.
There is also a risk of freezing drizzle as south winds gust up to 50 km/h. The high for the day is expected to hit –7 C.
Freezing drizzle could continue into Sunday night as winds become light and temperatures stay around –8 C. There is also a 40 per cent chance of light snow.
On Monday, the high is expected to reach –4 C, but overnight, the low falls all the way to –18 C.
