Winnipeg announces spring, summer leisure guide registration dates

The City of Winnipeg will begin registration for spring and summer swimming lessons, day camps and other leisure activities on March 15 and March 16.

The City of Winnipeg will begin registration for spring and summer swimming lessons, summer camps and other leisure activities March 15 and March 16.

Swimming lesson registration begins Tuesday, March 15, at 8 a.m., and all other registrations begin on Wednesday, March 16, at 8 a.m.

Swimming lessons are available for all ages.

Registration for city-run leisure activities for non-residents of Winnipeg begins Tuesday, March 22, at 8 a.m.

A fee subsidy is available to help Winnipeggers of all income levels access leisure activities.

There are four ways to register for swimming lessons and other leisure activities:

  1. Log into Leisureonline. The city recommends users log in before registration starts to test the system. If users have difficulty, they should contact 311.
  2. Call 311 to register.
  3. Register at one of the city's in-person locations.
  4. Visit one of the city's registration centres open on March 15 and March 16: 999 Sargent Ave., 1168 Dakota St. and 25 Poseidon Bay.
