Grandview RCMP were called to the scene of a house fire Monday morning that police believe was set deliberately.

A home in western Manitoba was destroyed Monday in what RCMP suspect was a deliberately set house fire.

Grandview RCMP were called to the scene of a house fire on Main Street in Gilbert Plains, Man. around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

No one was injured but the home was lost in the blaze, RCMP said.

Police and members of the Office of the Fire Commissioner said they believe the fire was deliberate and are investigating the incident.
