Temperatures mild, expected to fall by afternoon on Saturday

If you're hoping to get outside on Saturday, the morning just might be the best time to do it.

If you're hoping to get outside on Saturday, the morning just might be the best time to do it. 

Temperatures are expected to linger around –6 C, and will fall throughout the day according to CBC meteorologist John Sauder.

By afternoon, it's expected to be –8 C. 

The sky is expected to be a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day. Winds will be from the northwest at 30 to 40 km/h, but they'll be lighter later in the day.

On Saturday night, the low is expected to drop to –16 C, and on Sunday, the high is looking like –11 C with the sunshine returning.
