Winnipeg police have laid several charges against at 60-year-old man after uncovering drugs and weapons inside a William Avenue home.

The force’s tactical team was deployed around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday to raid a home in the 600 block of William.
There they found OxyContin and Morphine pills worth over $12,000 as well as knives, a taser and a small amount of cash.

A 60-year-old man is now facing drugs and weapons multiple charges.
