The residents in 130 homes in St. Boniface have their water back.

The city said the service was restored at 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Crews worked around the clock to repair the water main break north of the intersection at Archibald Street and Marion Street.

One lane is opened for northbound traffic on Archibald, but a barricade blocks the other lane.

The city said the break caused water pressure to drop throughout the neighbourhood.
