Ultramarathoners push the limits in 130K route
Manitobans who put off venturing outside because of poor weather won't get much sympathy from these people.
A group of ultra-marathoners took part in what's called the Actif Epica — a130-kilometre route that followed the Crow Wing Trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail, from St. Malo to Winnipeg.
Participants either run or cycle. Most of the cyclists take about 15 hours while runners have a 25-hour time limit.
