Winnipeg police are investigating an incident in the Transcona neighbourhood that began with a robbery.

Officers were called to a home on Lou Peltier Crescent at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police said a vehicle involved in the incident was followed and stopped in the 1300 block of Concordia Avenue E.

Police are releasing little information about what happened.

No arrests have been made but investigators are still on the scene, police said Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the same home in August 2011 after three men were shot in the garage. Two of the men were known to police in connection with weapons and drugs.

All three men, age 26, 29 and 30 at the time, survived the shooting.
