There are a bunch of new — and temporary — four-way stops along Winnipeg's Main Street Saturday, with traffic lights out from Redwood Avenue to Inkster Boulevard.

Police were on their way to direct traffic late Saturday morning. Motorists are asked to treat the intersections as four-way stops until officers or cadets are there.

So far, police are tracking outages at:

  • Main Street and Cathedral Avenue.
  • Main Street at Redwood Avenue.
  • Main Street at Inkster Boulevard.
  • Mountain Avenue at both Main and Salter Street.

There could be more outages still unreported, according to police spokesperson Const. Rob Carver.
