A severe thunderstorm warning has ended for parts of southeastern Manitoba and the Interlake.

Environment Canada initially posted the warning shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, saying it was tracking a severe thunderstorm that could produce strong winds, heavy rainfall and hail the size of dimes or even ping pong balls.

The thunderstorm warning applied to the Rural Municipality of Grahamdale, including Grahamdale and Moosehorn, as well as the Beausejour, Pinawa, Lac du Bonnet and Whitemouth areas.

The warning ended in all affected areas by 4 p.m.
