Three Winnipeg teens, including one 15-year-old boy, are facing charges after a pair of armed robberies in the city.
Police said a 53-year-old man was walking near Livinia Avenue and Stewart Street around midnight Tuesday when approached by a boy with a gun. The boy demanded the man’s backpack, but he refused and fled, according to police.
On Wednesday, a convenience store in the 800 block of Cavalier Drive was robbed around 3 a.m., and police said the victim described a similar suspect.
Several hours later, police got a call about a gun at a home in the 100 block of Costello Drive.
There, officers arrested a 15-year-old boy and seized a gun. Police said after a brief investigation, they found two other teens may have been involved in the robbery.
Now, one 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys are facing multiple charges including robbery and breach of a court order.
