Teen in critical condition after Flin Flon ATV-car collision
Alcohol has not been ruled out as a possible contributing factor, RCMP say
One teen is in critical condition after his ATV struck a car Sunday in Flin Flon, Man., and another is also seriously injured, RCMP said.
RCMP responded to the scene of the collision at the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Avenue in Flin Flon around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said two males, a 17-year-old from Flin Flon and 19-year-old from Thompson, were riding an ATV northbound on Main St. when they hit a Ford Fusion.
Both were taken to hospital.
The 54-year-old female driver from Flin Flon was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, a 58-year-old also from Flin Flon, was not hurt in the crash.
Alcohol has not been ruled out as a possible contributing factor. Neither of the males on the ATV was wearing a helmet, RCMP said.
