Winnipeg police believe 17-year-old man groped multiple women while cycling
An Ontario teen has been charged with four counts of sexual assault after several women and one child reported being groped by a cyclist in Wildwood.
Police say they received several reports from women ranging in age from 13 years old to 52 years old about sexual assaults in the area.
From Aug. 20 to Aug. 30, police received at least four reports of a cyclist riding up to women, stopping, grabbing their bodies and cycling away.
In an incident on Aug. 30, police said the suspect rode up behind a group of young girls and groped a 13-year-old in the lower body.
On Sept. 3, Winnipeg police arrested a 17-year-old man from Keewatin, Ont. and charged him with four counts of sexual assault. He has been released on a promise to appear.
