Team Manitoba's medal count hit 42 on Saturday night following a gold medal win on the volleyball court at the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
"It's unreal. It still hasn't hit us yet," said Team Manitoba's indoor women's volleyball team player Ayiya Ottogo.
"It hasn't hit me yet," added her teammate Emma Parker.
The women's indoor volleyball squad took Team Alberta three sets to one, winning gold in front of a packed crowd at Investors Group Athletic Centre.
It was Manitoba's 10th gold medal during the hometown games.
"Best day of my life hands down," said an ecstatic Averie Allard, who explained her team just pulled together.
"This is our game and there's no way we're going to let anyone take it from us."
Team New Brunswick walked away with the bronze medal earlier in the afternoon on Saturday.
Sunday is the last day of the 2017 Canada Summer Games with the softball gold-medal game and closing ceremonies.
