Suspensions at prestigious Winnipeg school
Two students have been suspended amid allegations they assaulted schoolmates at the elite St. John's Ravenscourt private school in Winnipeg.
Information about the disciplinary action was released to parents of students at the school Friday.
The school said two students were suspended for five days, while another two were to appear before a school disciplinary committee.
The letter noted that the assaults were not related to any long-term hazing.
Further details were not immediately available, but parents were told the matters concerned students who were boarders at the school.
According to its website, the school has 830 students in kindergarten to Grade 12, with boarding arrangements available for students in Grades 8 to 12.
