Suspect facing attempted murder charges in shooting of teen
17-year-old shot Monday has been upgraded to stable condition
Police have made two arrests after teenage boy was rushed to hospital in critical condition Monday after being shot.
They also said the 17-year-old injured has now been upgraded to stable.
Winnipeg police said Saturday the 17-year-old victim and another male were in the William Whyte neighbourhood residence in the 600 block of Manitoba Avenue when two male suspects broke in.
Police said the teen was shot as he and the other male tried to run away.
Two men, 19 and 20, have been arrested.
The younger man is facing charges that include attempted murder.
He is being held in custody.
