Summer seems to like hanging around in southern Manitoba, keeping the weather unusually warm these days.
The temperature hit 26.6 C in Winnipeg on Monday while Carman was the provincial hot spot at 26.8C.
The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 16 C and overnight low of 4 C.
Winnipeg's low was a balmy 13 C Monday night into Tuesday morning.
CBC weather specialist Marilyn Maki said the warmth will linger for a while yet, with the forecast calling for a high of 22 C in Winnipeg on Tuesday and 23 C on Wednesday with mainly sunny skies.
The normal temperatures will likely return by the end of the week, Maki said.
