Manitoba girl, 14, rushed to hospital after stabbing near Norway House school
RCMP have laid multiple charges against a 15-year-old boy after a stabbing outside of a Norway House school.
RCMP said the incident happened around 1 p.m. on Monday near the Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education and Resource Centre.
A 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were in a fight when the girl was stabbed, according to police.
The girl was rushed to hospital for treatment and later released.
Now, the boy is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. He remains in police custody.
Both the boy and girl are students at the school, and officers continue to investigate.
