Stonewall RCMP are investigating after a semi-traIler caught fire on Inkster Blvd. in the RM of Rosser Friday.

Police said the semi, which was parked in a compound at the time, was engulfed in flames when they arrived at about 4 a.m.

It was loaded with groceries and bound for Calgary. It was destroyed in the blaze.

Police said the 42-year-old driver, a Winnipeg man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but police said they believe it was sparked by a small stove being operated inside the cab of the truck.
