Semi-trailer fire sends 1 to hospital

One person was sent to hospital after a semi-trailer caught fire in Winnipeg on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Omand's Creek Blvd., near Brookside Blvd., at about 8:30 a.m.
The person was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The truck was heavily damaged and traffic was blocked in the area for about an hour.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
