Winnipeg police make 2 drug busts, 500K value

Two people from Petersfield, Man., are facing drug-related charges after Winnipeg police raided two homes just blocks from each other Friday.
The drug unit searched two homes, one on the 100 block of Kowall Bay, the other on the 100 block of Pickley Crescent.
Officers seized different forms of marijuana including 411 marijuana plants at a street value of $460,000 and 15 pounds of packaged marijuana valued at $15,000.
Police also found $35,000 in grow-op equipment as well as 18 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms.
A 21-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were taken into custody without incident.
