Southern Manitoba under snowfall warning

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for much of southern Manitoba Sunday evening.
A system moving from Alberta is expected to bring up to 25 centimetres of snow to some parts.
The storm is expected to continue overnight into the morning and taper off Monday night.
Winds are supposed to pick up as well, gusting at 50 km/h, in southeastern Manitoba, which will cause blowing snow and poor visibility.
Currently the snowfall warning extends from the Saskatchewan border along the United States border to the Emerson area and north to Riding Mountain National Park, including the city of Brandon.
The heaviest snowfall is expected in the southwest corner of the province.
People should check road conditions if they are planning to travel in these areas.
According to Environment Canada, the worst part of the storm will bypass Winnipeg.
A couple of centimetres of snow are supposed to fall in the city Sunday night starting at about midnight, and possibly five to 10 centimetres more on Monday.
